Incepted in the year 1970, S. M. Textile Mills is a time-honored organization engaged in manufacturing, exporting and supplying quality designer scarves, woolen shawls, woven stoles and designer bed sheets and handmade woolen throws. These exhibit latest fashion trends prevailing in the global market and are known for exquisite designs and patterns, attractive color combination, smooth texture and shrink resistance.

Based at Amritsar (Punjab), the textile hub (1980’s) of India we efficiently cater to the requirements of our esteemed clients offering unmatched collection that signifies grand quality and is available in innumerable choices to choose from. Designed using superior fabrics these reflect ancient motifs and contemporary designs in wide spectrum of natural colors. Our Shawls are regularly nominated at the Golden Threaded Award held annually in Australia. We are an ANSI, ISO, ASQ Q9001-2000 certified company and continually make efforts to keep up with the latest fashion scenario. Initially we began our venture with our production facility in Amritsar, India and manufactured Jacquard Jamawar Shawls with the help of Jacquard machines on Power Looms.

We are moving with a rapid pace in terms of development and recognition under the judicious aegis of our CEO, Mr. Rajinder Jain. He is the Financial Secretary of Shawl Club and has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from International Wool Secretariat. Being a Diploma in Textile specialization in Weaving, he has wide industrial experience of 37 years and helps us in exercising ethical business practices.

Further, in the year 2004, Mr. Rishi Jain, son of Mr. Rajinder Jain, joined the company to expand the business and venture our collection of shawls, stoles, woolen throws and bed sheets in the global arena. Some details of his educational background and work experience are stated below:

Graduated from Cleveland State University, Cleaveland, U.S.A. in December 2001 in the field of MBA in E-Commerce and marketing
